THE WORLD OF MINECRAFT

Creative and collaborative, Minecraft allows children to be a part of unique "worlds," populated by colorful characters called avatars. As a group, the students avatars build, dig, explore, collect resources, and work together to solve problems. While honing important technical skills such as keyboarding and spatial relationships, the children learn to cooperate, share, contribute to a community, discuss problems, and conquer obstacles. Students will also break each day for snack and outdoor play. **A subscription to Minecraft by Mojang is recommended but not required. Students will be allowed free play during certain times of the camp.
